2015 Race is unfortunately canceled due to warm temps, and degrading snow conditions. 🙁



Friday, Saturday March 13 – 14, 2015

***We need to have all entries in one week prior to race in order to plan the banquet****

Sinks Area, Logan Canyon, Logan, UT

Race Start 8:30 a.m.

2 dog (4 or 6 miles each day ) skijoring $25.00
2 dog Junior sprint 18 yrs. Or less (2 miles each day) $25.00
4 dog Adult  and *Jr. sprint (7 miles each day) $35.00
6 dog Mid Distance (12 miles each day) $55.00
8 dog Mid Distance (24 miles each day) $65.00

Entries: Due Friday, Feb. 27, 2015.

NEW THIS YEAR  Registration will be accepting only 15 musher’s trucks.  Parking restrictions due to limited space.

Vet Checks: No mandatory Vet Checks. Vaccination history will be checked at musher meeting. A vet is open Friday and Saturday in Logan.

Musher’s Meeting: Thurs. Night March 12, 7:30 p.m. (at the Baugh Motel conference room).

Banquet: TBA at the musher meeting;  Held after the race sponsored by Heavenly Animals

Purse: (TBD for all)

Trail: Groomed trail, 8-15 ft wide, varied terrain. Mostly public access trail with snowmobilers made aware of the race and consideration to dog teams. Some head on passing, wildlife and other distractions will be present.

Rules: Race rules are on the website and discussed at the musher’s meeting.

Directions to Race Site: From Logan, Utah, travel east towards Utah State University and Logan Canyon (400 N). Continue past the Beaver Mountain Ski Resort and look for signage at the Sinks snowmobile parking area. Travel time is roughly 45 min from Logan City in good weather, so plan accordingly.

    1. Just the 6 mile race for four dog adults,, keep in mind that half of the race is downhill 🙂 get late entries in asap for banquet planning purposes.
